Set in rolling countryside with panoramic views across Pt Phillip Bay, this newly renovated retreat is breathtaking and tranquil.
The architecturally designed farmhouse and adjacent cottages have a relaxed contemporary feel and are beautifully presented. All three dwellings are set in a native garden surrounded by magnificent exotic trees. The farm is a nature lovers haven, offering over 100 species of birds, kangaroos, wallabies, and numerous walks through the bush and wetlands. On warm days, guests can cool off in the lake or relax on the pontoon which is positioned 700m to the North East of the main buildings.
Centrally located between Dromana, Merricks, and Red Hill, Red Hill Ridge is an ideal base for exploring the Peninsula.
** The Farmhouse **
An amazing setting offering stunning views designed to capture the light and capitalise on the magnificent setting. The Farmhouse sleeps up to 8 guests across three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a Queen Size bed and a stunning modern ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 2 consists of 2 x King-Single beds and can be set up as a King bed if required. Bedroom 3 consists of 4 x Single beds. A modern and sleekly designed central bathroom is again absolutely stunning.
** The Cottage **
Sophisticated and spacious, with quality soft furnishings this cottage is tranquil and stylish. Fully self-contained, it offers a well-equipped new kitchen, complete with oven, dishwasher and induction cooktop. A Queen size bed is separated from the living zone, providing a relaxing, private retreat. Adjacent a very spacious ensuite that is cleverly designed for any guests requiring assistance with a safety rail. The gorgeous living zone once again brings the outside in. Vaulted ceilings, large couch, and easy chair, table setting for 4 guests, TV, and an ottoman which can be used as a single bed if required for an additional child, makes this a versatile space.

Originally the old dairy, hence the name, has also been transformed into another fully self-contained cottage with a separate bedroom including a Queen Size bed. Again, it is obvious that this space has been architecturally designed. It includes a kitchenette, stunning ensuite bathroom, and spacious living area, tastefully furnished and offering a single trundle that can accommodate a child if need be. The entrance deck features an outdoor setting, ideal for watching the sunset on the bay in the distance.

The property has a lake, therefore supervision is required for guests with small children. While the lake is accessible by car, it can get very slippery in winter, so it is recommended that you walk down during the wetter months.
Please note there are several CCTV cameras at the property. However, they are for surveillance purposes, when the property is vacant, only. Therefore, these will NOT be switched on during your stay.

Tumby on Rye has many living zones to choose from. There is an open plan living, dining, and kitchen area, which expands through lovely big glass sliding doors, onto an outdoor alfresco area. The combined dining/living areas are tastefully furnished with polished floorboards throughout, a pool table, and a gorgeous wooden dining setting for 10 guests. Located at the entrance of the property is the lounge room, complete with a Coonara wooden fireplace, just perfect for curling up on the lounge and reading a book or watching a movie. Bedrooms 2 and 3 - are located off the main living zone, both offering a Queen size bed, built-in robe, and quality furnishings.
