The house is beautiful and the views across the bay are just breathtaking. The house is very well appointed, beautifully furnished and has everything you need. Everything is high quality. We loved staying there and it was a great base for exploring the area. The Mornington peninsula is a great place to stay - really lovely scenery, lots to see and a lot of very good restaurants. No hesitation at all in recommending Bellevue sur Mer as the perfect base. One final point - Verve were brilliant. Extremely helpful, always responsive.

Great secret paradise getaway location. Lots of games and DVDs to watch, plenty of pool toys, and a great games room. Easy check in and we were even given a late check in. Would definitely stay again!

We had a lovely stay at Wye river at Fern cottage. From the start of check-in and getting the keys from the office to getting to the house, the whole process was easy and seamless. The bonus was that Great Ocean Road holidays messaged and advised of an early check in which was such a nice surprise. The house itself self was so cozy and homely and you just felt at home as soon as you arrived. The kitchen is well stocked with the essential cooking utensils and the kids loved the extra board games and books. The fire place is a welcome addition as it literally warmed the full house and the upstairs rooms. The location of the house is perfect with a 20 minute drive to Lorne or an hour drive to Apollo bay. But the general store in Wye river is also great for breakfast and things you might need around the house. We were a family of 6 with two young boys and the house was the perfect space for our group. I would highly recommend fern cottage and would love to visit again some time soon.

This place is made even more special by its surroundings! We loved spotting exotic birds and were delighted when kangaroos wandered by the house one evening – so keep your eyes peeled. The sitting rooms and spacious kitchen are fantastic, and the balcony that wraps around the property is the real star of the show. The bedrooms would be even better with a touch of beach-style décor, and air-conditioning in the bedrooms would be a welcome addition, as they can get quite warm even with the blinds down. Currently, there’s only one air-con fan in the kitchen, which doesn’t circulate cool air effectively down the hallway. We did notice some cobwebs in the pantry area near the roof and around the bathroom window openings, which could easily be addressed. Small improvements like these would make this an absolute 10/10 stay. Overall, we would definitely recommend this property – it’s a charming and relaxing escape.
