Perfect beach shack stay

We loved our stay and are already planning a return. Beds super comfy, kitchen really well equipped and an awesome yard for our four legged friend. It's a bit of a walk to bayside or back beaches, but that makes it better - fewer people and super quiet. Really well located and highly recommended for families and pets.

Well needed break well spent

We loved our recent stay at Just Beachy. Well equipped, super comfortable beds and very quiet. Central to everything. And great for a our four legged member of the family too - secure yard was awesome. Hopefully we can stay again.

Everything was just perfect!

We loved the place. A beautiful decorated house with an amazing, peaceful and private garden. Very close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Everything was just perfect!

Thank you for a fantastic stay. The property was wonderful and communication with Verve was also clear and easy. I want to highlight that this was the cleanest property that I've ever stayed at and I really appreciated this! We will be back for sure :)

Great house!

Great house, very comfortable on a rainy long weekend. Enjoyed the open fireplace, and well set up kitchen. We would love to return another time. Verve were very communicative and even arranged a welcomed late checkout. Highly recommend.

Terrific house

We really enjoyed this house, nice and cosy with lovely fireplace on a rainy long weekend. Undercover outdoor area was great for some outside play area even if raining. Good location and great correspondence.

The house is so cosy and has everything you need!

My youngest daughter, myself and our 2 furbabies stayed at "Just Beachy" for 4 nights, unfortunately the weather changed and was quite miserable, thankfully the house is so cosy and has everything you need including enough firewood to keep the house warm. We had a relaxing time. The only issue with the house in our opinion is the front gate isn't high enough for dogs and there's a gap at the bottom of the gate which we put a piece of timber there to stop our dogs from getting out under the gate. It would have been nice to have had a few extras as in some condiments and a larger bottle of milk upon arrival for tea and coffee. Overall a fantastic place to stay, very peaceful and cosy and the gardens amazing 😊

This place was fabulous!

The home came with everything we could hope for over a week's stay at Easter. The family loved the place. The house was clean, well-appointed, and very comfortable. The yard was fully secured and well-manicured. We spent lots of time enjoying ourselves in the outdoor area. This is a great place for everyone. Pets too!!! We’ll definitely be staying here again.

Just Beachy is a fabulous holiday rental!

Just Beachy is a fabulous holiday rental situated between the front and back beaches of Blairgowrie/Rye. Although on a busy road, you hear nothing other than the birds chirping due to the property being located back of the main road behind bush scrubland. There is ample parking for 2-3 cars. The yard is secure making it perfect for families with small children and pets! We took our dog and she had the best time having use of the yard with all it's interesting areas. The yard has a couple of distinct areas with seating from which you can enjoy eating breakfast or having an afternoon drink. The house itself is fantastic. There are three bedrooms - a master with ensuite (shower), another queen room, and a room with two single beds. There is also a central main bathroom with a bath and shower over the bath. The kitchen is superbly appointed with all the mod cons of home including dishwasher, coffee machine, and full-size fridge. The kitchen, dining (seating 8), and comfy lounge are open plan with smart tv and aircon. There is a full-sized gas bbq on the deck with an outdoor setting for at least 8. Oh and don't forget the outdoor shower which is exhilarating after a sandy swim in the bay! All in all our stay was fantastic and we'll definitely be back!!

Great house - exactly as described. Location is fabulous - walk to the beach, super quiet and near some great cafes. The house was clean, well-appointed and the outdoor space was simply lovely.

We felt at home the moment we arrived!

We really enjoyed our stay, accurate description of the house and what we could expect. Quiet location, yet walkable distance to the beach. Fully fenced garden and we were at ease with our little dog being outside. The garden is beautifully designed adding to the experience. We felt at home the moment we arrived and would come back to this property.

Just Beachy is a great house set in a large, beautiful garden - comfortable, quiet, dog friendly, well stocked kitchen, the lot - it was a great spot to spend a week exploring Blairgowrie and surrounds. Michelle was lovely to deal with, and quick to respond to any questions. Loved it!

Lovely cottage, secluded and fenced in garden, great for dogs and kids, very clean and well appointed, we didn’t need a thing as the house had everything we needed. Close to beaches, quiet area.

Negative: Positive: a lovely garden setting, fully fenced and dog friendly - plenty of good quality kitchen stuff to use making it easy for a week long stay so we could cook when we wanted to.

So peaceful and welcoming

I stayed at Just Beachy in November. It was just what I needed at the time - comfortable and well appointed holiday house in such a peaceful and well kept garden setting; and the dog enjoyed the stay and would write a review even though has trouble with the keyboard. Thanks for a beautiful beach house in which to stay.

We would recommend this house to everyone!

My family went over the weekend to Just Beachy and had a brilliant time. We have 3 girls and a boy and we fit in comfortably. The house is really a good quality solid home, and the fire place (and supplied wood) was a lot of fun to use!

Excellent facilities

I stayed here with my daughter and cat. I was impressed. It had all the conveniences you wish for. I loved the ducted heating and wood fire. The kitchen was modern with a big island bench - perfect for kids to eat at. The garden is lovely. The perfect place to sit with family and pets and enjoy the serenity. Would definitely recommend if seeking family and pet friendly accommodation.

Good but not pet friendly (don't be fooled)

A solid rental with good amenities. Misrepresented as a "pet friendly" property with the owners issuing additional undeclared T&C's after booking and payments had been made. These T&C's required that pets remained outdoors at all times except in bad weather then allowed for pets to stay in the laundry only. This is not pet friendly accommodation by any measure. This misrepresentation only further compounded by the fact that the fence surrounding the property has a hole that allows the neighbors cat to live under the house. The neighbors, who were nice, needed this hole to remain open until their cat returned home. Neighbors on the opposite side when retrieving lost balls didn't close front gate because the latch is difficult to operate. So in summary a property that demands pets stay in the yard only but the yard is not secure. All of this created a significant amount of stress for us so we left early and came home. Mostly disappointed at what appears to be willful misrepresentation of being pet friendly knowing that issuing T&C's after the booking was made left us with little chance of finding truly pet friendly.

We found Just Beachy to be the perfect house for our 2 week beachside holiday. House was great and all facilities on offer were ideal.
