LUXURY FARMHOUSE ESTATE, GARDENS, AND COTTAGE
Cloudland is a unique heritage farmhouse in one of Mornington Peninsula’s finest locations. Tucked away behind mature trees sits Cloudland on 5 acres of gardens and land with uninterrupted views of Red Hill.
Cloudland is a rare find and the location is golden. Nestled amongst restaurants, farm-gates, orchards, wineries, beaches, and untamed coastline, walking and horse trails, and mountain top lookouts. Some of the Peninsula’s finest restaurants are a short stroll away.
Cloudland combines relaxed luxury living with a unique flair and modern upgrades. The imprint of Cloudland’s craftsmanship creates a country estate atmosphere with the addition of much-loved curated pieces from the owner’s travels. The atmosphere is magical and its heritage shines to remind us of an era when things were slower.
Gardens of flourishing greenery and seasonal flowers (hydrangeas, camellias, rhododendrons, Mexican orange blossom) surround the home with meandering paths that lead you to hedges, established trees, arbour, olive trees, and the vast lawn. Nestled within is a swimming pool, old-fashioned cubby house, and playground under the birch trees.
You can be transported anywhere in the world, yet the views from the expansive terrace showcase Red Hill’s classic landscape.
History
Along a country road in the middle of lush hinterland lies a country house with Red Hill history.
Mr. and Mrs. Jarman visited Red Hill in the early 1900s from Devon, England to find land to plant an apple orchard. They found rich soil in Red Hill and planted their orchards and built their family home in 1926. The home was named Devonia and was the central part of the original Devon Farm Estate, the largest apple orchard on the Mornington Peninsula which spread along Mornington Flinders Road from what is now Tedesca restaurant to Ten Minutes by Tractor.
Today, the home is called Cloudland and the property has evolved over time and recently renovated to guarantee comfortable living. There are ample entertainment areas and terraces to take in the views, the tractor shed is converted to a games room and the gardens include a swimming pool, cubby house/playground, farm paddocks, rose arbour and expansive lawn. A fully self-contained cottage is also available and sleeps 2.
Living Zones
The farmhouse sleeps 11 people across four bedrooms, the master of which can be found with a spacious bathroom and separate terrace and seating area.
The house has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a fully equipped stainless kitchen with a walk-in farm pantry, a large entertainment space, and two separate living spaces with fireplaces. The house has high decorative ceilings, fireplaces, and headlight windows with plenty of natural light.
Enter the home and you’ll find the “fireside” library room with a large open fireplace, comfy sofas, and windows that look out onto the front garden and fountain.
The bedrooms all retain their ornate ceilings, windows, and interiors are made fresh with latte interiors, comfy beds, and unique furnishings. All rooms have views of the garden. The master bedroom suite has double doors that lead onto a courtyard bordered with Jasmin and garden views.

Bedroom 1 - King Bed
Bedroom 2 - Queen Bed

The ensuite bathroom and guest bathroom have been fully renovated to include rain showers with crafted fixtures and ceramics.
Down the hallway is a well-equipped kitchen and bar with an open plan living and dining room, with a table seating for up to 12 guests. This large entertaining space has recycled local timber floorboards, marble benchtops, marble bar, beamed ceilings, fireplace, Smart TV, and windows on every side with views of the gardens and rural views that span forever.
Leading from the entertainment space to the outdoors is a covered terrace with an outdoor dining setting for 10 guests, 2 lounges, and a BBQ that overlooks the gardens and large rear lawn out to the rural views across the valley.
Cloudland has a bright interior and an eclectic mix of antique and modern furniture from New York, Asia, and Australia. Some walls house ornate mirrors and the light fixtures include original lamps, Italian Murano glass chandeliers, and sconces along with a chandelier dubbed the Russian Wedding Cake made by a local artist.
The modern touches include ducted and zoned heating and cooling, a renovated kitchen complete with stainless steel workbenches, a marble bar benchtop, a walk-in farm pantry, and a large open plan living space with sofas and a fireplace.

Absolutely beautiful
Katarina Ljubicic - 7th December 2021We will never forget our stay at Cloudland. The property was more than we could ever expect. The dwelling is spacious and elegant inside; Including high quality bedding, comfortable lounge and dining areas and a large full kitchen which was a delight to cook in. Despite this, we spent most of our stay in the outdoor patio and garden area where we enjoyed the view of rolling hills and chirping birds who would approach to be hand fed. It was an unforgettable stay.
This property is perfect
